8 Track.

I had this idea that one band/artist would roll over month to month. I decided this month that it would be Ryan Adams. It wasn't until I'd already burned the disc that I realized he wasn't on last month's. Well, he should have been.

No Morphine either. How uncharacteristic. I'll have to fix that next month.

Hallelujah Ryan Adams - from Demolition
Do not listen to this song unless you want to totally rock out. I've been singing it in my car for two weeks straight. I really can't sing.
Phantom Limb The Shins - from Wincing The Night Away
From The Shins latest. You've probably heard it, but it's still good stuff.
Side Streets Saint Etienne - from Tales from the Turnpike House
If you're not familiar with Saint Etienne, they have a mellow, almost loungy sound, but manage to do it without being soul-less a la easy listening stations.
Hot Sluts (Say I Love You) Robbers on High Street - from Fine Lines
Sometimes you put a song on your playlist for the name. This isn't one of those times.
Blue Honey Pop Levi - from The Return To From Black Magick Party
What he said.
Cato As A Pun Of Montreal - from Hissing Fauna, Are You The Destroyer?
I like the contrast of the strong lead in chords followed by the soft vocals. You might not. You might like Britney and Akon, or McDonalds and Doritos. You might be the antichrist.
Strange & Beautiful (I'll Put A Spell On You) Aqualung - from Strange & Beautiful
Aqualung has a sort of Cold Play quality to them, but you know, they're actually good.
On Call Kings of Leon - from On Call Single
A departure from this bands last 3 albums, if you're familiar with them. If you're not, you should be. This is one of the few bands out there today that plays pure and simple rock and roll and plays it well. I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of it.

Play all 8
