Specifically, they've been bothering me to give them more music to listen to, and so I put together some music-- what I was listening to at the time, what had been recommended to me, what I found dredging around KCRW. You know, stuff like that. I came up with eight tracks, the date was Feb. 8th and thus The Eight on the Eighth was born.

I was familiar with a couple of the radio hits from this album from a few years back and decided to revisit it.
If you're not familiar with them, they may take a couple listens, but this is a good album.
