East Coast, West Coast, Midwest

I promise I will NEVER put together a themed playlist.

Brooklyn Bound The Black Keys - from The Big Come Up
Nerdy white guys sing the blues.
California Waiting Kings of Leon - from Holly Roller Novocaine
Can I get back my lonely life?
I-95 Fountains of Wayne - from Traffic And Weather
Ever made that drive? "South of The Border coming up in must 200 miles!"
Dear Chicago Ryan Adams - from Demolition
Drink Whiskey. Listen. Repeat.
New York, I Love You But You're Bringing Me Down LCD Soundsystem - from Sounds of Silver
Lamentations on the Disneyfication of Times Square.
Los Angeles, I'm Yours Decemberists - from Billy Liar
I get this one stuck in my head every time I get of the train from San Diego to LA. I take that trip a lot.
Paris Train Beth Orton - from Daybreaker
I met a nice young lady songwriter in my favorite bar who scrawled down a list of songs for me to listen to, next to her number. She never called me back. Musicians...
Let's Take A Trip Together Morphine - from Cure for Pain
Now, there's Morphine, and there's Morphine and by this I mean, it's all good, but there are several different entry points to your Morphine listening, and I surprised myself by choosing this one for you. Like most of Morphine's stuff, it sort of slides out of the speakers and instantly makes you feel several points cooler just for listening to it. Play it in the car with the windows down while wearing a cheap pair of sunglasses.

Play all 8

PS Kurt is in up in heaven now.
